Sam Barber's childhood was filled with a consuming desire to become a famous artist and capture on canvas the "joie de vivre" of life with vivid color, light and imagination. Barber was influenced by Claude Monet and Degas. Sam Barber paints on Cape Cod , Nantucket and in Europe.
