C. IVAR GILBERT

Ivar Gilbert was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1882. His early training was in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 1925 Ivar Gilbert came to the U.S. and free-lanced for printers, and publishers. Gilbert was awarded a bronze medal for a poster at the International Tourist and Travel Exhibition in Budapest in 1933. C. Ivar Gilbert spent much time traveling and painting in Europe.
