"Feeding the ducks", oil on canvas 14.25" X 10.25" signed lower left. McCord exhibited 30 times at the National Academy between 1870-1900.He was named an associate of the National Academy in 1880. Other memberships included A W S; Brooklyn Art Club; Lotos Club; New York Watercolor Club; Salmagundi Club McCord was a member of the second generation of Hudson River School landscape painters. He painted in the Berkshires, Ma.; Adirondack and Laurentian mountain ranges and also in Venice and Paris. References 31 books.
